From this date all manufacturers and importers are obliged to submit information about their articles to the database.
For an MSDS newly prepared, a person who intends to manufacture or import classified chemical substances and mixture shall submit an MSDS prior to manufacturing or import.
Companies needs to submit GHS for substances for industrial use from 9 February 2022.
From 9 February 2027, company need to comply with GHS for Mixtures of non-Industrial use.
From 9 February 2023, companies need to comply with GHS when dealing with substances of non-industrial use.
Companies dealing with mixtures for industrial use will need to comply with GHS from 9 February 2025
From 1 May 2026, hazardous chemical enterprises in China will be subject to strengthened safety supervision and more systematic risk-based regulatory control.
As of July 1, 2026, stakeholders must have updated safety data sheets, labels, and classifications for chemicals or mixtures that are covered by GB 30000.30-2025.
From 6 February 2028 onwards manufacturers, importers, formulators, and distributors of chemical products must fully comply with GHS 6 and update the classification, labelling, and safety data sheets (SDSs) of hazardous products accordingly.
