Deadline

Deadline for nomination of substances in the Vietnam National Chemical Inventory (NCI). The final draft of the inventory is expected to be released by the end of this year.

For an MSDS newly prepared, a person who intends to manufacture or import classified chemical substances and mixture shall submit an MSDS prior to manufacturing or import.

Report data of production, import, and export of a substance within US territory

In compliance with GHS, employers must apply GHS Rev.7 at workplace for Substances from 20 November 2026. Accordingly, hazard classification, label and SDS must be in place.

Notify Articles in SCIP database that containing SVHC; 

Annexes II and III to Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 - substances (allergens) that are listed in Annex II & III may not be used as ingredient in cosmatic products that are on EU market (deadline 22nd Aug. 2021)

Start of Notification: The UK is currently into an 11-month transition period with the EU and it would exit the transition period on 31st December 2020. UK REACH will come into effect from 1st January 2021.

Companies manufacturing or importing Priority Existing Chemical (PEC) in quantities above 1 TPA and have received the Phase One Registration Number after January 1, 2020, must submit Standard Registration within 5 years, counting from January 1 of the year following the date the number was obtained.

For example, if a substance is registered as a Priority Existing Chemical (PEC) with an annual quantity above 1 ton on February 1, 2021, the Standard Registration deadline
