New chemicals added to the Australian Inventory of Industrial Chemicals

In line with the Industrial Chemicals Act of 2019, new chemicals were introduced to the Australian Inventory of Industrial Chemicals (AIIC) after their assessment certification on October 17, 2023. This move reinforces Australia's commitment to keeping the industrial chemicals sector up to date and regulated.

The new chemicals on the list and their specific characteristics are as follows:
