The Chilean Ministry of the Environment (MMA) has approved the list of hazardous substances for non-industrial use notified during 2025, in accordance with Articles 294 and 295 of Supreme Decree No. 57/2019 on the Classification, Labeling, and Notification of Hazardous Chemical Substances and Mixtures. The list was formally adopted through Exempt Resolution No. 09425/2025, dated 22 December 2025. 

Key Regulatory Points

• The resolution covers hazardous substances for non-industrial use notified during the 2025 notification cycle.
• Notification obligations apply to manufacturers and importers of hazardous substances placed on the Chilean market in quantities ≥ 1 tonne per year.
• In line with the regulation, notifications for non-industrial substances corresponding to this cycle were due by 30 August 2025.
• Due to technical issues with the electronic system, a provisional notification procedure was implemented via the MMA’s institutional platform.
