Scope :

Expertise in analytical techniques (e.g., NMR, IR, GC-MS, LC-MS).

Location: Nagpur, Maharashtra, India

Job Type: Full-Time 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting substance identification for regulatory compliance (e.g., REACH, TSCA, and other chemical regulations).
  • Analyzing structural, compositional, and physicochemical data for accurate identification. Preparing and submitting dossiers to regulatory authorities.
  • Liaising with regulatory bodies to address compliance issues.
  • Performing advanced analytical techniques to confirm substance identity.
  • Developing and validating analytical methods for purity, impurities, and structural elucidation.
  • Supporting R&D and regulatory teams with detailed substance identity reports.
  • Ensuring accurate substance identification and documentation for regulatory filings.
  • Providing expert guidance on the classification and labeling of substances.

Skills Required:

  • Expertise in analytical techniques (e.g., NMR, IR, GC-MS, LC-MS).
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., REACH, GHS, CLP).
  • Documentation and report writing skills.
  • Proficiency in analytical instrumentation and software.
  • Knowledge of IUPAC nomenclature and chemical databases.
  • Strong laboratory skills and adherence to quality standards.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of global chemical regulations and compliance databases. Understanding of regulatory requirements for substance identity (e.g., IUCLID for REACH).
  • Research and publication skills

Value of a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry:

  • Advanced knowledge of organic compound structures and reaction mechanisms.
  • Hands-on experience in spectroscopy and chromatography techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
  • Ability to critically evaluate and interpret chemical data.
  • Deep understanding of organic structures and their regulatory implications.
  • Strong analytical and technical writing skills.
