Regulatory Research Trainee full-time

Global Product Compliance (GPC) is seeking for a motivated trainee for the Regulatory Research with the expertise in chemical sector. GPC’s extensive experience in regulatory compliance services started with EU REACH but our large client base has motivated us to venture into every new regulation that has emerged over the past few years like Cosmetics Regulations (EU, India and the USA), Korea and Turkey REACH, and the regulations in the UK, Eurasia, Australia, Taiwan, Japan, China, US, Canada, Latin America etc.

We are looking for trainees in diverse chemical regulatory regions, for example; EU, Thailand, Australia, the US and Latin America. Some sort of connection or genuine interest for one or several of these geographical areas and relevant language skills are considered a plus.  

As an trainee you will be working in one of the above-mentioned chemical regulatory fields. During your traineeship you will be expected to provide a mid-term and final presentations together with a final report summarizing the findings of your studies in the field. One of the regulatory advisors will supervise you and will guide you through the traineeship.


Apart from your project you will be working on the day-to-day tasks assisting our Regulatory Advisors team. Here are some examples of what your tasks might include:

  • Navigate the regulations that apply to the industries (e.g., Industrial chemicals, cosmetic, agrochemical, food, pharmaceutical, etc.).
  • Provide country-specific regulatory interpretation and guidance on requirements of the regulation for various actors in supply-chain.
  • Author and produce regulatory news item for the Newsletter and social media post
  • Write scientific documents and
  • Project management expertise
  • Collect and analyse examples of challenges, gaps, and failures in regulatory compliance in a specific industry/country.
  • Conduct cross-country comparative studies on a specific regulatory compliance.
  • Market analysis of regulatory and compliance policies.
  • Convey complex regulatory requirements and content in a clear and structured manner.
  • Creating scripts for regulatory webinars and videos

Your Profile:

  • Fluent in spoken and written English is a must! Other language skills are a plus.
  •  Master's degree in chemistry/chemical engineering/environmental science/environmental management law or equivalent/life studies. Applicants currently studying the final year of their master program are also welcome to apply.
  • Excellent writing skills, ability to summarize complex information and convey text in a clear and structured manner
  • Experience authoring and/or editing regulatory documentation
  • Project management skills
  •  Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Self-starter personality
  • Ability to make tight deadlines while maintaining high quality
