Compliance under KKDIK K-REACH
The Ministry of Environment of Korea (MoE) published the Act on Registration and Evaluation, etc., of Chemical Substances (K-REACH) on January 1, 2015. K-REACH aims to protect public health and the environment through four key procedures: notification or registration, evaluation, authorization, and restriction of chemicals. Under K-REACH, manufacturers or importers of a new chemical substance must register the substances before manufacture or import. Substances produced or imported at less than 100 Kg/year only require notification and are exempt from hazard evaluation.
This webinar will provide the latest updates and upcoming deadlines for K-REACH in 2025, offering insights into compliance obligations. Ms. Heewon You will also share practical examples of dossier preparation and submission, as well as crucial information for exporting to South Korea.
In addition, the webinar will cover the recent changes to Türkiye's KKDIK regulation and their impact on the registration process, compliance obligations, and trade with Türkiye.
