The Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals (DCPC) has announced its plan to implement Quality Control Orders (QCOs) for a list of 10 chemicals. This initiative falls under the provisions of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016. The enforcement of these QCOs will begin on specified dates for each chemical, as outlined below:
