MSDS regulation updates and obligation in South Korea

Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) is one part of Korea Occupational Safety and Health Act (KOSHA). KOSHA was revised on August 17th, 2021 and came into effect on August 18th, 2022. Manufacturers (both Korean and non-Korean) and importers dealing with chemical substances in Korea are obligated to submit a standard MSDS to the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL) through new MSDS portal.
