Registration is required for pesticide products that are manufactured, imported, sold or used in China. The legal framework for pesticide registration in China is the Regulations on the Control of Agrochemicals (Decree 677) (enforced on 1 June, 2017) and Measures on Management of Pesticide Registration (Decree 3) (also enforced on 1 June, 2017). Oversea manufacturer should appoint a Chinese agent to submit application.
