Cosmetic Regulatory updates from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates

About the webinar

This webinar presents updates of cosmetic regulations in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. In Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) is the responsible governmental body for cosmetic product regulation. Cosmetic products manufactured in or imported to Saudi Arabia should be registered through eCosma, SFDA’s system for cosmetic registration. In the United Arab Emirates (UAE), two governmental agencies are responsible for cosmetic products registration: Emirates Authority of Standardization and Metrology (ESMA) and Dubai Municipality (DM). Cosmetic products to be imported need to be registered at ESMA. Cosmetic products to be sold in the retail market need to be registered at DM.
