Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals DCPC India Quality Control Order QCO Extended Enforcement Date
On 4 September 2025, the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Department of
Chemicals and Petrochemicals, issued three Gazette notifications amending
the Quality Control Orders (QCOs) for specific categories of HDPE and PP
woven sacks.
According to the amendments, the enforcement date of the following QCOs has been extended to 6 January 2026:
Extension Made in Public Interest
The Ministry noted that the extension was made in the public
interest after consultations with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
